Blazpup is the best long-term starter (B tier endgame — the only starter still ranked) — but the rough Verdant Valley opening means you must catch Water coverage early.
Blazpup (Hatybaemon) is the Fire starter from the Blue Egg. High-burst damage carry with a rough opening — Rock types dominate Verdant Valley. Under the July 2026 tier update it is the only starter still on the endgame board (B tier), rewarding players who commit to the Fire route and catch Water backup by Petal Pond.
